GIVING BACK, ONE LOAN AT A TIME
Embracing EagleBank's commitment to community, Mehdi makes a generous donation for every loan he closes to Dreaming Out Loud whose mission it is to create economic opportunities for the DC metro region's marginalized communities through building a healthy, equitable food system. Proudly partnering with Dreaming Out Loud in 2020, Mehdi gave an initial contribution of $20,000 to help address immediate needs and feed more than 800 families this winter for whom COVID brought food insecurity and hunger.
Mehdi Pirzadeh's path to success in the mortgage industry has been paved not by just quoting a rate, but by analyzing loan options to help borrowers achieve overall financial objectives. Mehdi's holistic approach has enabled him to close over $2.5 billion in loan volume in the last 20 years and to consistently rank among Top Mortgage Originators in the country (ScotsmanGuide.com).
Born in Tehran, Iran, Mehdi grew up in Bethesda, MD, and graduated from the University of Maryland. He started out in the software industry but quickly found out that his real career calling was helping people fit their finances to the home of their dreams. Mehdi is pleased to bring value and efficiency to his clients, backed by the strength, flexibility, and local decision-making of EagleBank.
Mehdi has made per-loan donations to community organizations here and abroad for many years:
World Vision - providing children in impoverished countries with funds for food, shoes, and clothing.
Compassion Without Borders - gave funds for shelter, medicine, humane treatment, and homes to stray dogs.
Wide Horizons for Children - Mehdi's commitment paved the way for the construction of the Mehdi Pirzadeh Pediatric Ward in Adwa, Ethiopia.
"For a grassroots organization such as ours, generous gifts like this go a long way to help many animals in need. I cannot thank you enough for creating this amazing program which will bring meaningful and sustainable support to our work. Many thanks for your generosity, and compassion." - Christi Camblor, Compassion Without Borders Co-Founder
"We’re very grateful for this donation. The Mehdi Pirzadeh Pediatric Ward at the Adwa Clinic provides vital life-saving services to babies, children, and expectant mothers in one of the most impoverished and remote areas of the world. We’re proud to name the new ward in honor of a man who shares our commitment to helping improve the lives of children in Africa. Thank you again for everything you have done for these kids." - Janice Hoffman, President, Wide Horizons For Children
